X-Hello friends, welcome to Info Cloud. Do you love listening to music, Andrea？

A-Yes, I love listening to music, especially if I'm going for a walk or taking the train.

X-So, when you listen to music in public spaces like that, Andrea, do you use headphones or earphones?

A-I do. That way no one else will be bothered by my music. So let's stop for a minute and talk about the difference between headphones and earphones.

X-Sure. In general people might use either termto talk about this device. However, headphones are more likely to have a band that goes over your head.

A-They are designed to be very comfortable and may help you cancel out other noises, since they can surround your ears.

X-But they may be too big to carry around or fall off easily when exercising.

A-That's right. So some people might prefer smaller earphones or earbuds.

X-We might divide earphones by on-ear and in-ear to describe how they fit.

A-And earbuds rest inside your ear canal that's the inside part of your ear.

X-They are easy to carry around and some are even waterproof.

A-And if you use bluetooth or wireless earbuds, you don't even have to worry about the cord getting tangled in your pocket. Now what style of earphones do you prefer?

C-现在有很多人每天都会使用耳机，今天分享跟耳机有关的用语。首先西方人会用headphone或earphone来形容耳机。不过一般来说headphone比较常用来指耳罩式的大型耳机通常音效比较好没什么杂音，但是体积比较大不方便携带。另一方面earphone通常是指小型的耳机，像是earbuds耳塞式耳机，或是in-ear入耳式，另外还有on-ear贴耳式的耳机。不过现在非常受到大家欢迎的是bluetooth earbuds蓝牙塞耳式耳机或wireless earphone无线耳机
