GRE写作可以说是所有GRE考生复习用时最少的科目。部分写作基础较好，目标分数又不高的同学，基本上不会花时间在写作上，直接考试时临场发挥，最后也能取得3.0或者3.5的分数。

但是如果你的写作基础不好，或者写作分数要求是4.0以上的同学，那么就不建议效仿上面的做法，不然一不小心弄个160+170+2.5就很尴尬了！

也有同学曾经问过，考试前要练习多少篇，才能考到3.5/4.0/4.5........？

在回答这个问题之前，我们先来了解一下GRE写作的分数构成和官方评分标准。

• 一篇Issue，30min

• 一篇Argument，30min

总共满分是6分，Issue和Argument分别算分，最后再取两个分数的平均值。

先由至少1位受过训练的评卷者，使用6分制进行评分，依据每篇文章的整体质量判定分数，重点考察考生的批判性思维和分析性写作的能力。

评卷者打分完毕后，由ETS研发的计算机程序e-rater@评分。若人工评判的分数和e-rater@评判的分数接近，则取两项平均分。若两项分数的差异较大，则会由第2个评卷者继续进行评分，最终成绩为两个评卷者人工评分结果的平均值。

Scores 6 and 5.5

• Sustains insightful, in-depth analysis of complex ideas;

• develops and supports main points with logically compelling reasons and/or highly persuasive examples;

• is well focused and well organized;

• skillfully uses sentence variety and precise vocabulary to convey meaning effectively;

• demonstrates superior facility with sentence structure and language usage, but may have minor errors that do not interfere withmeaning.
  

Scores 5 and 4.5

• Provides generally thoughtful analysis of complex ideas;

• develops and supports main points with logically sound reasons and/or well-chosen examples;

• is generally focused and well organized;

• uses sentence variety and vocabulary to convey meaning clearly;

• demonstrates good control of sentence structure and language usage, but may have minor errors that do not interfere withmeaning.

  
  

Scores 4 and 3.5

• Provides competent analysis of ideas;

• develops and supports main points with relevant reasons and/or examples;

• is adequately organized;

• conveys meaning with reasonable clarity;

• demonstrates satisfactory control of sentence structure and language usage, but may have some errors that affectclarity.

  
  

Scores 3 and 2.5

Displays some competence in analytical writing, although the writing is flawed in at least one of the following ways:

• limited analysis or development;

• weak organization;

• weak control of sentence structure or language usage, with errors that often result in vagueness or lack ofclarity.

更低分数的评分标准就不再展示了，其实看评分要求，4.0以上的分数，其实并不难。

对观点有深入的分析，列举的例子在逻辑上合理，理由充分，内容重点突出，条理清晰，能够利用一些句式和词汇来清楚表达意思，基本上就可以拿到至少4.0的分数。

即使存在一些语法小错误，但只要不影响意思，依然可以拿到不错的分数。

大家写作部分的主要的难点还是在于GRE写作话题的复杂性。就拿issue来说，每个话题都有支持者（正面）和反对者（反面），而我们所要做的不仅仅是表达自己一厢情愿的看法，而是展现出自己的理性分析能力，一种critical thinking（其实就是理性思维）的能力。

而理性分析的能力不是谁天生就有的，都是依靠后天的刻意训练。

GRE官方一直是公布了所有的写作题目，所以想要写作4.0以上的同学，建议至少先得把所有题目熟悉，将每个题目的重点了解清楚，然后将同一话题的题目进行归类，然后每个类型挑选几篇出来亲自动笔写一写，其余题目可以自己列一列大纲。

对于想要冲5.0以上高分的同学来说，建议是每篇作文都能自己亲自动笔写一写，而且是计时练习。
