?מֶה עָשִׂיתָ אֶתְמוֹל

What did you do yesterday?

昨天你做了什么？

מֶה = [meh] what 什么

עָשִׂיתָ = [asitha] you did 你做了

אֶתְמוֹל = [ethmol] yesterday 昨天

.בַּלּוֹתִי סֹלֶת בְּשֶׁמֶן זַיִת לַעֲשׂוֹת מַצָּה

I mixed fine flour in olive oil to make unleaven bread.

我混合了细面到橄榄油里去做无酵饼。

בַּלּוֹתִי = [ballothi] I mixed 我混合了

סֹלֶת = [soleth] fine flour 细面

בְּשֶׁמֶן = [beshemen] in oil of 在……的油

זַיִת = [zayith] olive 橄榄

לַעֲשׂוֹת = [la’asoth] to make 去做

מַצָּה = [matztzah] unleaven bread 无酵饼

?וּמָה אַתָּה עֹשֶׂה הַיּוֹם

And what are you doing today?

而今天你在做什么？

וּמָה = [umah] and what 而什么

אַתָּה = [aththah] you 你

עֹשֶׂה = [oseh] doing 在做

הַיּוֹם = [hayyom] the day, today 今天

,אֲנִי בֹּלֵל סֹלֶת בְּשֶׁמֶן וְגַם בְּמֶלַח

I am mixing flour in oil and also in salt,

我正在把细面调和在油以及在盐里，

אֲנִי = [ani] I 我

בֹּלֵל = [bolel] mixing 混合着

סֹלֶת = [soleth] fine flour 细粉

בְּשֶׁמֶן = [beshemen] in oil 在油里

וְגַם = [vegam] and also 及也

בְּמֶלַח = [bemelach] in salt 在盐里

,לַעֲשׂוֹת מַצָּה חֲדָשָׁה

to make new unleaven bread,

去做新的无酵饼，

לַעֲשׂוֹת = [la’asoth] to make 去做

מַצָּה = [matztzah] unleaven bread 无酵饼

חֲדָשָׁה = [chadashah] new 新的

כִּי רָעָה הַמַּצָּה אֲשֶׁר עָשִׂיתִי אֶתְמוֹל׃

for bad is the unleaven bread that I made yesterday；

因为我昨天做的无酵饼是坏的；

כִּי = [ki] for 因为

רָעָה = [ra’ah] bad 坏的

הַמַּצָּה = [hammatztzah] the unleaven bread 那无酵饼

אֲשֶׁר = [asher] which 那

עָשִׂיתִי = [asiti] I made 我造了

אֶתְמוֹל = [ethmol] yesterday 昨天

!כִּי גַּם אָבִי וְאִמִּי לֹא אָבוּ לְאָכְלָהּ

for even my father and my mother didn’t want to eat it!

因为就连我的父亲和我的母亲都不愿意吃它！

כִּי = [ki] for 因为

גַּם = [gam] even, also 即使，也

אָבִי = [avi] my father 我的父亲

וְאִמִּי = [veimmi] and my mother 和我的母亲

לֹא = [lo] not 不

אָבוּ = [avu] they were willing to 他们愿意

לְאָכְלָהּ = [le’ochlah] to eat it 去吃它

.הִנֵּה הַסֹּלֶת בְּלוֹלָה

Behold the flour is mixed.

瞧啊那细面被调好了。

הִנֵּה = [hinneh] behold 瞧啊

הַסֹּלֶת = [hassoleth] the flour 那细面

בְּלוֹלָה = [belolah] having been mixed 已经被调了
