Old Grandma


See my dear, old grandma in her easy-chair!

看呀亲爱的，老奶奶正躺在她的安乐椅上！

How gray her hair is! She wears glasses when she reads.

她的头发银白！她看书时戴上了眼镜。

She is always kind, and takes such good care of me that I like to do what she tells me.

她总是非常和蔼，对我非常照顾。我愿意听她的话。

When she says, “Robert, will you get me a drink?”

当她说：“罗伯特，你能给我拿点喝的来吗？”

I run as fast as I can to get it for her. Then she says,“Thank you, my boy.” 我会尽快拿给她。然后她会说：“谢谢你，我的乖孩子。”

Would you not love a dear, good grandma, who is so kind?

这样一位亲爱的好奶奶，你难道不喜欢吗？

And would you not do all you could to please her?

难道你不愿意做所有能令她高兴的事情么？
