我决定以后每次上海英语高考出来后，就写篇作文发gongzhong号。写的比较随性，模仿有风险，但我努力做到写得有趣。

作文题目

Directions: Write an English composition in 120-150 words according to the instructions given below in Chinese.

假如你是明启中学的高三学生王佳，你校老师Lucy计划开设一门关于“信息素养(information literacy)”的课程。课程包含以下四个板块：“网站设计”、“大数据处理”、“信息精准检索”、“信息真伪辨别”，现面向全校师生征集意见。请你写一封电子邮件给Lucy，内容包括：

1）你最感兴趣的两个板块；

2）你对这两个板块感兴趣的理由。

首先让我们来了解下格式，英语商业书信一般包含六大部分：

• Heading (your full address and the date)

• Inside address (the receiver’s address)

• Greeting

• Body

• Closing

• Signature

大多数情况下，考试似乎没有一定要写上发信人和收信人地址。但是后面四项一样儿都不能少，我们记得用Dear开头，然后写写写，最后收尾问候语如果懒记住一个就行，比如Sincerely，记住要加逗号，最后加上落款即可。

下面是我尝试写的范文，字数超了（就是停不下来），跟市面流行的英语优秀作文似乎也不搭，大家请谨慎参考。

Dear Lucy,

I’m Wang Jia, a senior（美国12年级学生也称做senior，你也可以说a twelfth grader） in Mingqi High School. Here in this email are my opinions about the new information literacy course. Among the four branches you’ve listed, I prefer Big Data Analytics and Information Validation (or Fact Check) the most.

The first reason is that these two areas resemble the two sides of a coin: one is to determine what kind of the data to take in; the other is to dig out the patterns and customize the messages sent out once the data has been taken in. Data doesn’t think, human beings do. Without sophisticated analysis, data is useless no matter how big it is. “Garbage in garbage out” was a popular saying even before the Internet age. Old time wisdom still rocks.（如果为了字数控制，Garbage in garbage out这部分可以拿走，不过我觉得加上去很有趣啊！）

Secondly, it’s our obligation to shape the IT landscape in the future. To me, literacy is not just knowing something, but fully understanding it. What we need to understand is not just what we can do, but what we should do. Will we gather whatever data that flows in without the consent from the other ends like many big techs are currently doing? Is intelligent the synonym of intrusive and imposing? We must stay alert constantly in order to prevent the technology from flipping to the dark side of the human nature. Again, big data and fact checking are two of the key elements to achieve this goal.

Above are my opinions of the new course. Looking forward to a grand debut in the new semester.
