在第一学年中，同学们主要学习三门数学课，分别为上学期的微积分和线性代数，和下学期的多元微积分，不同大类所选课程代码可能有略微不同，但内容大致相似。

大一同学的数学课基本安排在FB基础楼的东西侧一至四楼阶梯大教室（如2W）。通常一间教室都上同一门课，只是班级和老师不同罢了，所以如果有时间，可以选择上完课留下来再听一遍其他老师讲的课程（数学社也会紧接着出一个蹭课表），集百家之长嘛。如果有特别喜爱的老师，也可以找好他的上课时间地点专门去听，比如我经常去蹭蔡力老师的课。FB的阶梯教室很大，虽然有PPT，但还是建议同学们提前二十到十五分钟到教室选择前排位置就坐，因为很多老师偏爱板书，坐后排很可能看不清。西浦线下数学课不是很频繁（可能是疫情的原因）建议珍惜每一节线下课。数学课不用带多少东西，建议包里只要带PAD或笔电和草稿纸就可以了，毕竟谁也不想天天扛着数学书到处跑，看PDF版不香吗？（PDF版可以在网上找到，数学社也会提供资源。）

是的，作为一个中外合办大学，西交利物浦对数学课的基本要求就是全英文，更何况还有数学系外教。大一上学期同学一般面对一个资料板书全英文，但讲解半英文半中文的过渡情况（但视老师情况而定），到下学期则会转变为全英文课堂。对于全英文上课?很多人可能会比较头疼。这边我的建议是英语不是特别好的同学一定要买翻译本，这样的做的原因是：不会落下任何考点，书本是相当重要的，全英文的状态可能让人视觉疲劳无法做到一字不落，因此在初入西浦，一个数学书翻译本还是很重要的。考试卷子是英文的，怎么办?别慌别慌，尽管你平常学习都离不开翻译本，但一定要去听线下课最好是全英文，当然如果因为英语太差完全听不懂可以听听一些老教授的中文讲解课程（比如线性代数韩云瑞老师），这样就会潜移默化的掌握所有专业名词，考试也不用担心看不懂试卷。

一般来说，quiz和作业共占10%，也就是共10分。剩下的90分为期中期末分数，期末分数大概率占比比期中高一些。与传统高校不同的是，我们没有老师主观决定的平时分，即没有期末捞人这一说，所以大家要好好学习喔！

quiz和作业占分虽不多，但这两项强调的都是即时地检测学习成果。例如quiz一般两周一次（采取线上考试）约25道题限时两小时，在周末抽时间完成即可，作业一到两周交一次，如果都认真完成不走捷径，一定是能学好滴！

前文提到的quiz就是很好的复习资源，quiz结束的周一就会释出答案。数学社讲师团会在quiz结束的一到两天内甚至quizi一结束就在数学是b站账号（XJTLU数学社）上给出相应解析，同学们可以配套查漏补缺。期中卷子在考试结束后虽然是要上交的，但我们可以在learning mall对应板块找到空白试卷及试卷答案和部分解析（当然是在考试结束后！）也可以看向我们的第一生产队：讲师团录的试卷解析课。在学校图书馆网站https://lib.xjtlu.edu.cn/可以找到往年的试卷，但是一般没有选择题及全卷完整答案，且每年的考试范围也不尽相同。数学社资料部会根据考试范围替换掉超纲题目，同时会在给社员发放的资料里配备解析。最重要的是，你永远可以相信你的老师。在office hour（考前会有额外的office hour）去找他，老师真的会非常认真非常耐心地解答你的问题。老师，我的超人。
