My hometown

My home town, Zhuzhou is a beautiful place. It stands beside a wide river and is rich in fish and rice. But in the old days it was a poor and backward little town. Many people had no work. They lived a hard life. In 1949, my hometown was liberated. Since then, great changes have taken place there. The streets have been widened. Factories, schools, hospitals, cinemas and theaters have sprung up one after another. And the countryside is more and more beautiful .The life of the people is greatly improved.

Zhuzhou is a beautiful and intelligent modern city! Recently, Zhuzhou City has opened smart rail transit, which is safe, comfortable and low-carbon. It is a great convenience for the public and has become a beautiful scenery in Zhuzhou City!

I love my hometown and all the people there. They are working hard so as to make it still richer and more beautiful.

我的家乡，株洲是个美丽的地方。它坐落在一条宽阔的河边，盛产鱼和大米。但在过去，这是一个贫穷落后的小镇。许多人没有工作。他们过着艰苦的生活。1949年，我的家乡解放了。从那时起，那里发生了巨大的变化。街道拓宽了。工厂、学校、医院、电影院、剧院纷纷涌现。农村越来越美丽，人民生活大大得到改善。
